ROYAL PICTURES. *
Visitors to the Royal to-night are assured of real good value lor their money. The ordinary programme is a real top notchcr and in addition to same the third series of the great picture, “Lucille Love,” will also be screened. The ordinary programme is well varied including an Australian Gazette, “In the High Alps,” an almost unique record of alpine beauties and several good comics and dramas. There will also be screened a picture ot the burlesque football match, played in the Basin Reserve, Wellington, for charity's sake. The star picture, “Quicksands,” is by the Kaletn Company and is a vivid, throbbing portrayal of adventure and love in the Philippines. On Monday and Tuesday next the star picture, “The Price of Blood.” supported by a real firstclass lot of other films will be shown.
