ROYAL PICTURES. Two great star feature dramas will he shown at the Royal tonight. The first “The Seventh Dav,” is an exceptionally strong and thrilling story and the other “ A Loyal Deserter,” is also above the ordinary. The rest of the programme is well varied and of the usual high standard. On Saturday night the third instalment of that great picture “ Lucille Love ” will be screened, in addition to the ordinary programme, which is headed by “ Ouicksands,” a vivid portrayal of love and adventure. FLORENCE YOUNO'S COMPANY. Lovers of bright plays in wbicli good singing abounds, will have for satisfaction in toe annouucement made tc-day that Miss Florence Young and her specially organised company, are to appear at the Town Hall, Foxton, on Saturday, February 6th. Of the popularity and ability of Miss Young as a lyric actress there is no room for doubt. For twenty years now she has been recog ( nised as the uncrowned queen of the Australian theatre, and in “The Climax,” the musical play in which she and her company appear in Foxton Miss Young, according to Australian critics, scores her greatest triumph. Songs of a high class nature are introduced throughout the course ol the play. Miss Young contributing a goodly share of these. One song in particular, “The Song of the Soul,” has become even more popular than “My Here,” Miss Young’s great number in “The Chocolate Soldier.” Included in Miss Young's company are several ex-principals ot the Royal Comic Opera Company, notably, Messrs Reginald Roberts. Claude Bantock and Edmund Sherras. Full particulars will be announced in due course.
