WAR NEWS.
The Allies have taken the offensive in an endeavour to drive the Germans out of the north of France and Belgium. The German cruiser, Friedrich Karl, has been sunk in the Baltic by the Russians. The Austrian cadet ship was mined and sunk. As a result of the German naval raid on the Yorkshire coast, no were killed and 405 wounded.
