There was a large attendance of both bowlers and croquet players on the local green yesterday afternoon. Refreshments were provided by Miss E. Ross. The following are farther results of competition matches : Witchell Trophy—Harvey (6) 29 beat Barber (6) 24, Woods (6) 27 beat F. Whibley (n) 22, Rimmer (3) 36 beat Bryant (n) 23, Nye (9) 27 beat Woods (6) 25, and Healey (12) 33, beat F. Whibley (11) 22. Golder Cup.—Hrslop (scr) 22 beat Woods (6) 19Pairs.—Hawke and Rimmer (scr) 26 beat Mandl and Harvey (4) i2. and also beat Bryant and Nye (6) by 27 to r 4, Ball and MeColl (6) 28 beat Mandl and Harvey (4) 16.
