FROM iSth December, 1914, to iOth January, 1915, Extra Express trams will run between Wellington and Auckland as under Leave Auckland 9-52 p.m. daily (except Saturdays) from 18th December to loth January, inclusive, Palmerston North 12.45 p.m. daily (except Sundays) from 19th December to nth January, inclusive, arriving Wellington 3.59 p.m. Leave Wellington 2.0 p.m. daily (except Sundays) from 18th December to 9th January, inclusive, Palmerston North 5.22 p.m., arriving Auckland 7.50 a.m. On Sunday, 27th December, and Sunday, 3rd January, special express trains will run between Wellington and Auckland as under : Leave Wellington 1.10 p.m., Palmerston 4.25 p.m., arriving Auckland 6.43 a.m, Leave Auckland 12.40 p.m., Palmerston N. 3.19 a.m. (28th December and 4th January), arriving Wellington 6.26 a.m. EXPRESS TRAINS BETWEEN AUCKLAN D & PALMERSTON NORTH. NIGHT TRAINS, WANGANUI-NAPIER-’W ELLINGTON. On 24th December, passenger train will leave Wanganui 11.25 p.m., Palmerston North 4.20 a.m. (25th December), arriving Wellington 8.44 a.m. ■Train will leave Wellington 11.25 p.m. (24th December), Palmerston 4.10 a.m. (25th December), arriving Wanganui 7.50 a.m. The 11.25 p.m. special from Wanganui will stop after leaving Longburn at Shannon, Levin, Otaki and and stations between Paekakariki and Wellington. CHRISTMAS DAY. On 25th December a passenger train will leave Palmerston North at 4,20 a.m., arriving Napier 10.25 a.m. In addition to above only the following trains will run The Ordinary and Extra Mail and Express trains. Palmerston North-Foxton : —The 8.55 a.m. train Foxtonto Palmerston North, and the 5.35 p.m. train Palmerston N. to Foxton.

HOLIDAY EXCURSION FARES. Holiday Excursion tickets available for return until I2th February, 1915, will be issued from any station to any station on the North Island Main Line and Branches also from any officered station on the North Island Main Line and Branches (excepting Wellington) to any station on the South Island Main Line and Branches (excepting Lyttelton) from 18th December to 2nd January inclusive. No goods or live stock will be conveyed on 25th and 26th December and Ist January, and goods sheds will be closed on those days. For further particulars see posters and booklets at stations.
