NEW ZEALAND EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. mHE Defence Department are in JL urgent need of recruits for the New Zealand Foz'ces to go into camp on the l6th December next. The ages of men required are from 20 to 40 years, unmarried men preferred 500 men are needed by 15th December, and 4,000 as soon as possible afterwards. A hearty response is hoped for. All names handed in to the undersigned will be forwarded to the Department immediately. G. H. STILES, Mayor.
