Millar and Giorgi, of Palmerston North, have a replace advertisement in this issue in reference to ties. / Read it. The dog tax for the coming year was fixed last night by the Borough Council at the same as for previous years, and the official notification re the same will be found in our advertising columns. The office of the registrar, Mr D. Knewstub, will be at the Town Hall for the ensuing year, and he will be in attendance at the hours specified in the advertisement. At its meeting last night, the Council rescinded the resolution authorising stock to be at large on the streets. The Town Clerk notifies in our advertising columns that after to-day any stock at large either night or day will be impounded.
