MR ROBERTSON BOWLED OUT.
At last night’s meeting Mr Robertson stated that Mr Massey, in a private conversation, had promised him (Mr Robertson) that if Mr Robertson voted against the Ward Government on a no-confidence motion, the Reform Party would not oppose him in the present election. A telegram conveying this statement was sent to Mr Massey this morning for verification or otherwise. Mr Massey wired that Mr Robertson's statement is “absolutely untrue.”
