COMPLETE LIST OF CANDIDATES. Nominations of candidates for seats in the House of Representatives closed on Monday. A remarkable feature of the list of candidates isjjthat in each of 57 districts the contest is between only two candidates. Six members of the last Parliament are not seeking re-election. They are: Messrs John Bollard, Eden ; Hon. J. A. Millar, Dunedin West; W. H. D. Bell, Wellington Suburbs ; T. Buxton, Temuka ; E. H. Clark, Chalmers; and T. H. Davey, Cnristchurch East. Mr F. H. Smith, who represented Waitaki in the last Parliament is now a candidate for Timaru. The following list contains the names of candidates in the 76 electoral districts into which the European electorate is divided. Government supporters are indicated by G., Oppositionist by 0., Independents by L, Labour nominees by L., nominees of the Social Democratic Party are distinguished by S.D*, and Prohibition by P.
