The following is a statement of the receipts in connection with the Spring Show held last week:— Door receipts, 4s 6d; tea rooms, 17s 6d; sweets stall, tion, 16s; cake guessing competition, £1 6s ; hat-trimming and nail-driving competitions, 18s; button-holes, is 3d; sale of exhibits, 18s 3d ; entrance fees, 6d; total receipts, us.
In the sheep weight-guessing competition, the exact weight (48 was guessed by Messrs P. Robinson, J. Newth, John Ross, and Mrs Kirkley. The cake weight-guessing competition resulted in Mesdames Bullard, C. Robinson, Baylis and H. Thynne, each guessing iolbs., being nearest to Its actual weight ot gibs. 1502.
