BOWLING.
There was a fair number of bowlers on the green yesterday afternoon and both croquet lawns were fully occupied. Afternoon tea was provided by Mesdames Bryant and McColl. Four matches in the competition for the trophy presented by Mr Witcheli were played, the result being : Hislop (scr) 28 beat Harvey (6) 17. McColi (9) 32 beat Bryant (n) 24. Barber (6) 31 beat Bryant (n), and Harvey (6) 21 beat Petrie (6) 14.
