HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
Mr BL Witchell’s trophy, a handsome silver-plated flower stand, for competition in the rose section at the forthcoming Spring Show, is on view in Mr Patterson’s window. The trophy is for one rose, named, and is to be competed for by members of the Society at the end of The trophy is to be won three times, and to be competed for at the Spring Show each year. I* The Borough Band have consented to play in the street and inside the Hall during Show nights. Mr Woodroofe has again donated a dressed _ sheep for the , aessing competition.
