MANAWATU COUNTY ELECTIONS.

The following gentlemen were re-elected unopposed to the Manawatu County Council yesterday : Messrs J. G. Wilson (Mount Stewart), H, Hunt (Rongotea), B. Gray (Kawa Kawa), W. K. Barber (Awahou) and G. Masters (Sandon). The Waitohl Riding will be contested by Messrs W. J. Phillips and W. F. King. No nominations were received for the Carnarvon Riding, previously represented by the late Mr R. B. McKenzie.
