MOUTOA AND SHANNON NOTES.

Mrs Mohekey, of Moutoa, who is leaving to reside, in Musterton was farewelled by her friends on Thursday evening. The function took place at the residence of Mr and Mrs Strawbridge. The evening was devoted to musical and vocal items. Mrs C. Hall made the presentation which consisted of a lady’s hand mirror and hair brashes, cruel eiderdown quilt aud hearth rug. Mrs Hall iu a neat little speech wished Mrs Mohekey success and prosperity in her new home.

The total amount raised by the recent carnival in Shannon was were not more than The money is to be held iu trust for local relief and if not required will be forwarded to the Patriotic aud Belgium relief fund.
