HOCKEY.

As it was decided 'last night that each ladies club should be allowed to nominate only one team, the School B. team has been withdrawn. Play commences at 2 p.m. sharp. Teams not ready to take the field on time, forfeit the match. There are 12 teams competing, including three men’s teams from Levin, so the spectators should witness a good day’s sport. Foxton’s A, B and C teams are to be called the Amblers, Ramblers aud Scramblers respectively. The following are the players : Amblers. —McMurray (capt.), Bryant, Baughen, Burgess and Cook. Ramblers —Munro (capt.), V, Robinson, H, Robinson, C. Robinson and N. Bryant. Scramblers. Woodroofe (capt.), Hazlett, Hamer and Read.

At a meeting of the tournament committee last night the following fixtures were drawn up for Wednesday : LADIES; Ist Round.—Wharangi v, Awahou, 2 p.m.; Tui v. School. 2.15. 2nd Round. —Tui v. Wharangi, 2.45 ; Awahou v. School, 3.15. 3rd Round. School v. Wharangi, 4 ; Tui v. Awahou, 4.45. MEN : Ist Round. —(1) Levin A v. Motuiti, 3 p.m. ; (2) Rouud Bush v. Foxtou C, 2.30; (3) Levin B v. Foxtou B, 3.30 ; (4) Levin C v. Foxton A, 3.45. Semi-Final.—(6) Winners of (1) play winners of (2) at 4.15; (6), winners of (3) play winners of (4) at 4.30. Final,—(7) Winners of (5) play winners of (6) at 5 p.m.
