ENTERTAINMENTS.
ROYAL PICTURES. “The Timers of the Hills,” the star picture at the Royal to-night is one of the Kalem Company’s latest and tells a love romance of western America, in which are shown the Indians true to nature. It abounds in sensational episodes with a pretty love gtory running right through it. Patrons at the Royal to-night will also be afforded an opportunity of viewing this year’s “Derby,” England’s greatest classic horse race. “Jnu’s Birthday Pipe,” is a Pathe picquant comedy, and there will also be shown an immense mountain panorama, “ Among the Danehine Alps.” Other films are, “A Deal in Real Estate,” comic ; “The Real Helpmate,” a fine human play showing all that a loyal wife may be to her husband; “The Flaaius Valley,” a pretty scenic ; and “Wiffles Kidnapped,” comic. On Monday night the star film is “The Wreck,” showing aheadon collision between two trains travelling at high speed. MUNICIPAL PICTURES. The star film for to-night “ The Expert’s Secret ” is the A.K’s. biggest and dramatic success, revealing a deep plot to rob a man of the work of his brains. It a strong drama of subtlety and cunning showing villiany vanquished and virtue victorious. The other items of the programme are: “Warwick Chronicle” (topical); “The Scientist’s Doll ” (com. drama); “Fast Freight 3205 ” (drama); “Mr Sniffkin’s Widow” (comic'*; “Dresden” (scenic); “ The Kellino Troupe ” (vaudeville).
