A meeting of the Tournament Committee was held last night and final arrangements weie made for the five aside tournament. It was decided to run the rounds on “Yankee” lines so that all teams play the same number of games. A small charge is to be made for admission, but as it is the first time this season that the public have been called upon to pay for their afternoon’s amusement it is to be hoped that all the supporters of the game will roll up—especially as the profits are to be banded over to the relief fund. All local players who wish to take part are requested to hand their names into the secretary before Saturday night. Moutoa forfeited the final game to Foxton A. yesterday. The final positions of the teams are as follows: — Moutoa 21 points. Kevin B. 20 ~ Foxton A. 19 ~
