ROYAL PICTURES, Another good programme will be screened at The Royal to-night. The star film, “Wolves of the Underworld,’’ is a strong drama of humanity, in which is brought vividly before the audience many episodes of life, which touch the heart. • ‘ With the Eyes of Love, ’ ’ is another of Edison’s grand human dramas, which is a first favourite with lady patrons of all ages. Other films are, “Topical Budget,’’ giving the world’s news on a picture sheet, “The Bellboy’s Revenge,” comic, “Just Nobody,’ a drama with many tender touches that go straight to the heart of all, “The Eugenic Boy,” and “Cruel, Cruel Love, a Keystone comedy, which is a sure cure for “the blues.” On Monday night the star picture, “The Queen’s Jewell,” is a sensational production by the Itala Company. The film is 4,000 feet in length, and intensely interesting, and among the scenes shown are motor chases, sensational train rides, an aeroplane flight, and the burning of an aeroplane, a fight on a train, and a leap for liberty, and also a truly sensational escape across a street on a thin rope. MUNICIPAL PICTURES. To-night’s programme contains a splendid star film, “In the Watches of the Night,” wherein Marion Leonard, a magnificent looking woman and one of America’s biggest screen favourites, will be seen to great advantage in a drama which enthralls from start to finish. The other items will be : A very charming drama, “The Message of the Rose” ; “The Warwick Chronicle,” topical ; “He Who Laughs Last,” comic ; “The Right and Wrong of it,” drama ; “By the Sad Sea Waves,” comic ; “The New Maid,” comic.
