HOROWHENUA TROTTING CLUB.
The first annual meeting ol the Horowhenua Trotting Club will be held on September 9at Devin. The club intends to open its career auspiciously, judging by present indications. It is offering in stakes divided amongst seven events for which there are 60 acceptances. Horses will come from Christchurch, Hawera, Hutt, Hawke’s Bay, Masterton, Petone and other places, and there should be some capital sport. There should be a large attendance of local sports.
