THE WEATHER.
The Rev D. C. Bates wires today as follows: — Westerly moderate to strong wind prevaling and freshening. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, with increasing haze and cloudiness. The nights will probably be very cold with frosts inland. The barometer has a rising tendency, but falling after about 24 hours. Sea considerable, tides poor.
