POST OFFICE DEPOSITS.

Under section 71 P. andT. Act, the Postmaster-General requires depositors to give seven days notice to withdraw money from the Post Office Savings Bank. The seven days will not apply to amounts under £2, but there must be an interval of seven days between each withdrawal of £2. The local postmaster advises that all telegrams must bear a full address and signature, and be written in plain language. Code addresses cannot be accepted. The surname is not sufficient for a signature. A. HAWKE, Postmaster.
