The Devin Magpies defeated Shannon at Devin on Wednesday, by three goals to one. It was a good fast game in which the Magpies had the best of it. 'Shannon played well, but alter the first few minutes of the second half they had not much chance, the Magpies were too good. For Shannon Tippler, Russell, Bovis, Graham and one or two other players played a fine game. For Devin Smart, Wilson, Whitehouse and Hopa did good work, and Fletcher showed a steady improvement. Messrs Easther and Broughton were referees.

Moutoa defeated Devin A. at Moutoa on Wednesday by three goals to one.
