THE OTAKI SEAT.
MR FIELD’S CANDIDATURE
Upon enquiry from Mr W. H. Field as to his candidature for the Otaki seat at the forthcoming general election, we are informed that Mr Field has definitely decided to contest the seat as a supporter of the present Government on no-confidence motions, but reserves to himself full independence otherwise. Mr Field’s reasons for taking this course will be disclosed to the electors in due course.
