JOY-RIDERS INTOXICATE FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD GIRL. THEN LEAVE HER IN THE STREET. Christchurch, June 14. Serious allegations were made to-day at the Juvenile Court, when a girl, aged fifteen years, was charged with drunkenness. She stated that she was taken for a joy ride yesterday in a taxi to Kaiapoi with a girl cousin and two men. She had two nips of whiskey, and remembered uothlug further. -She was found wandering in the streets, having been put out of the car on the return to the city. Mr Bishop, S.M., characterised the affair as a scandal to the community. The police are making full inquiries to sheet the affair home and deal with the taxi driver.
