DRUIDS’ LODGE.
The half-yearly meeting of the local Druids’ Lodge was held last night, A.D. Bro. McKegney presiding over a good attendance, The balance-sheet for the halfyear ended May 30th, which disclosed a very satisfactory position, was read and adopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing term : —A.D., Bro. A. Smith; V.A., Bro. T. W. Mitchell; 1.G., Bro. T. G. Simpson; 0.G., Bro. A. Martin; A.D.8., Bros. W. Jane and S. J. Pearce; V.A.8., Bros. J. and P. Parker. During the evening, presentations of a P.D.P. Collar to the retiring district president, Bro. Woods, and a P.A, collar to Bro. Martin, one of the Lodge’s past arches, were made, and at the conclusion of the meeting supper was partaken ot at Bro. Perreau’s.
