Express trains will run between Auckland and Wellington as under: — Leave Auckland 10.4 p.m., 2nd June, Marton 12.38 p.m., 3rd June, Palmerston 1.57 p.m., arriving Wellington 5.46 p.m. Leave Wellington 12.35 p.m.. 2nd June, Palmerston 4.10 p.m., arriving Auckland 7.55 a.m., 3rd June. On 2nd June, the 9.10 p.m. ordinary Express train from Auckland will take passengers from Auckland only for Waiouru, Taihape, and stopping stations beyond Taihape, and will not lift passengers at any stopping stations between Mercer and Palmerston North, inclusive, except for Waiouru. This train will also lift passengers from Waiouru for Taihape and stations south of Taihape. Other passengers from these stations must travel by the extra down Express train as shown above, or the ordinary Express train leaving Auckland at 12 noon. Their.soa.rn. ordinary Express train from Wellington will not lift passengers at stations between Palmerston North and Mercer inclusive. Passengers trom these stations must travel by the extra Up Express train or the ordinary Express train leaving Wellington at 9.10 p.m. On 3rd and 4th June, the New Plymouth to Wellington Mail train will not stop at Otaki, but will stop at Manakau to permit passengers to be transferred to special train leaving Manakau 5.10 p.m. for Otaki. OTAKI RACES, 31m AND 4m JUNE. On 3rd and 4th June, special passenger train will leave Palmerston 7.40 a.m., Longburn 8.50 a.m., arriving Otaki 10.22 a.m., and will return leaving Otaki 5.25 p.m. for Palmerston. On 3rd June, the above special train trom Palmerston will only stop at Awapuni, Longburn. Shannon, Levin and Manakau for passengers. On 4th June this train will stop where required for passengers. HOLIDAY EXCURSION tickets available for return until 20th June,, will be issued from any station to any station on the North Island Main Line and Branches from Ist to 3rd June, and also from Palmerston and intermediate stations to Otaki by morning trains on 4th June.
