STOCK REPORT. Messrs Abraham and Williams Ltd., report:—At Palmerston N. on Thursday, the 28th inst., a fair yarding of sheep met with good competition and all lines changed hands, a good entry of cattle also sold readily. Quotations Fat wethers 23s to 23s 1 id, fat ewes 19s, forward ewes 16s rod, empty ewes 13s lodto i4s, mixed lambs 13s gd, f.m. ewes in lamb 14s id, cull ewes in lamb 9s lod, 3-yr steers £6 6s, fat cows 3 s 1° £& is, forward cows £3 15 s to 6s, store cows £2 5s to £3 11s, 15mos steers £2 15s. weaners 21s 6d to 355, 18-mos heifers in calf £3.
