THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows: — The hemp market is quiet with a general feeling of uneasiness on account of heavy receipts from Manila. New Zealand good fair, fair current, 10s ; June to August shipments New Zealand good fair, £27 ; fair, £24 ; Manila fair current, £27. The output of Manila for the week was 20,000 bales.
