AMERICAN OPINION OF NEW ZEALAND.
The American Trade Commissioners consider New Zealand is mostly fitted to be a tourist resort on account of its magnificent scenery. The high price ot land will be a stumbling block to an active immigration policy. In commercial activity the factories of the Sunshine Harvester Company and the Gear Meat Company in Wellington were a reyelation. Regarding the American Beef Trust the commissioners are of opinion that the higher price of meat is better tor Australasia as the producers.
