DEATHBED MIRACLE.

BLIND MAN’S SI3IIT

A remarkable Instance of a blind man having his sight temporarily restored on his deathbed, is reported from Willows, California. It was William Martin, aged 86, who, alter years ol blindness, had the consolation of being able to see the faces of those near and dear to him for one short hour before he breathed his last. For weeks the old man bad prayed earnestly that he might have one farewell look at his wife and children. A day or two before his death, as if by some miracle, he suddenly found himself once more in the possession of the sense of which he had so long been deprived. But it was only for an hour. While still, in his feeble way, recognising and greeting those brought to his bedside, he was again stricken with blindness, and remained sightless to the end.
