MOA SKELETON.
FOUND NEAR INVERCARGILE.
Invercargill, April 8
A find of moa bones has been made by a member of the Naturalists’ Society, twelve miles from Invercargill, in the direction of Riverton, at a spot known as Sandy Domain. The skeleton is complete with the exception of some parts of the head, and when reconstructed will stand ten feet high. Several minor finds of bones have been made in the past at the same place.
