INFANTILE PARALYSIS.

Caristchurcix, March 25

At the Hospital Board meeting, Dr.- Fenwick presented a report on infantile paralysis stating that the disease is in a mild form and there have been two recoveries. Dr. Valintlne said 40 cases occurred in Dunedin, 30 in Christchurch, and reports from Taranaki suggested an epidemic there. A peculiar fact is that the disease attacked many adults but a good feature was the recoveries. Dr. Fenwick suggested the probability of another epidemic next autumn.
