HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

The Autumn Show, under the auspices of the local Horticultural Society, will be held in the Coronation Hall to-morrow afternoon and evening. The official opening will take place at 2.30 p.m., and will be performed by His Worship the Mayor (Mr G. H. Stiles). Very large entries have been received in all classes. Proceedings will be enlivened with selections by the Borough Band, which will play outside the Hall at about 7.30 o’clock, and will also render several items inside during the evening. There will be a number of competitions of various kinds, and also a guessing competition for a sheep given by Mr Woodroofe.
