ENTERTAINMENTS.
80-PEEP. The Royal Pantomime Company was greeted with a large and enthusiastic audience in the Town Hall last night, when the charming pantomime, Bo Peep, was staged. The music, dressing, singing and dancing, to say nothing of the elaborate settings, were excellent. There was not a dull moment, and the frequent outbursts of applause, and recalls, bore evidence to the delight of the audience. The spectacular scenes descriptive of the four seasons were splendid. The manager, in thanking the audience, expressed satisfaction with the patronage bestowed, and hoped to pay a return visit to Foxton in about a year’s time.
