Train arrangements in connection with the Feilding Agricultural Show are advertised to-day. The little shop for big bargains. Fletcher Gabites’ summer sale is in full swing now, so call early and get your pick of the bargains. A few lines are advertised to-day. W. F. Durward and Co., Palmerston N., are offering a big feast of bargains at their Summer Clearance Sale, and to-day advertise some specials in dress goods. G. H. Stiles advises by replace advertisement that a Great New Year Sale commences on Thursday next at his establishment. It is said that this will be the sale of all sales. Mounsey and Co. advertise a sale of household furniture on behalf of Mr W. Farmery, to be held on the premises, Hulke Street, on Wednesday next, at 1 p.m. As Mr Farmery is leaving the town, every line will be sold to the highest bidders and there should be a good attendance for this good furniture. The Empire Agencies, Palmerston North, notify in our advertising columns to-day that they have obtained the sole New Zealand agency for a number of everyday requirements American, English and Colonial-inspection or correspondence in connection'with which is invited, A few of the lines handled are enumerated in their advertisement to-day.
