In the Royal Hall on Tuesday evening a picture entertainment in aid of funds for the purchase of life-saving appliances at the Beach will be held. A first-class programme has been obtained, the star picture being, “ Money Kings,” a Vitagraph film 2,876 feet in length. It is a most exciting story showing how James Nontepier, a steel magnate, is outwitted by a daring girl, who braves all for the man she loves. “Her Grandchild,” (Vitagraph) and “Kifeof a Favourite Horse” (Nestor) are also good dramas. The favourite “ Australian Gazette” depicting Australia and New Zealand events of interest, and two fine scenics and a number of comics will also be screened. The object of the entertainment is a good one and as patrons will in addition receive full valuefor thejr money there will no doubt be a big attendance.
