PICNIC AND SPORTS.
Ou New Years Day, tie Friendly Societies Council wiA hold their annual picnic and sport; in Victoria Park, Complete arrangements in connection with same have been made, and the outing promises to be as successful as previous ones. Twe special trains, from Feilding and Palmerston, will run. An excellent sports programme has been drawn up, including cycle and running events. A special leature will be the baby shows, one for babies under 12 months and the other under six mouths. Milk and hot water will be supplied free on the grounds to picnicers.
