ENTERTAINMENTS.

MUNICIPAL PICTURES

Specially selected programmes have been obtained for the three performances for this week. Space will not permit of a description of them all in full. The two stars for Wednesday are more chan ordinarily attractive, "Our King’s Navy,’’ and "His Life for His Emperor,’’ and are such as will meet with a good reception ; the former is bound to be of more than average merit, and the latter will be well received by all lovers of the "Little Corporal.’’ All the other items will be seen in the advertising columns. For Friday’s programme, the star drama, "Hearts ot Gold,” is a powerful film, which will carry the* interest of the audience from start to finish. This is supported, as will be seen by the advertisement, by a most charming and attractive lot of pictures. The programme for Saturday night contains a most thrilling star drama, "The Vampire of the Desert.” being a film depicting tense and deep emotion, which is bound to hold the audience in spellbound admiration. Like the programmes for the other evenings, it will be seen from the advertisement that a first class assortment of films has been arranged to support this picture. As the patrons of the Municipal Pictures were so well pleased with the efforts of Mr F. May and Miss Millicent Mowbray on Saturday evening last, they will appear again on Wednesday and Friday nights. On Wednesday evening their part of the programme will be as under: "When They Ask You What Your Name Is,” “Any Time is Loving Time,” aud the great chorus song, "A. Toast to Erin.” The specialities are, "We’re Proud of the Irish,” "Wake up, McCormick,” and "My Highland Laddie.” Their Friday’s programme will be "I Wonder How the Old Folks are at Home,” "Norah McNamara,” and Mary Mark Lemon’s pathetic song story, "Daddy.” The specialties are, "An Irish Girl’s Opinion,” "Where’s Dooley i' 1 and “The Farmyard.”
