TOBACCONISTS BEFORE THE COURT.

Dunedin, Nov. 26. At the Police Court Joseph Isaacs, tobacconist, was charged under lour informations for breaches of the Gaming Act by disposing of tickets in Tattersall’s. Mr Hay, for the defence, urged that Isaacs was merely the purchasers’ agent, not the sellers’ agent. Judgment was reserved.
