ENTERTAINMENTS.

MUNICIPAL PICTURES.

The Management of tLe above are presenting on Wednesday evening a most unrivalled attraction by showing two star dramas. “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” is a film of over 3000 feet; the story is so well known that it needs no description, and no doubt there will be a large audience to view “Topsy” in her merry eccentricities. “The Queen oi Sheba” is a film of marvellous historical screening, constructed and acted on a scale of exceptional grandeur, set in a gorgeous scene of regal splendour and is a remarkable work of immense magnitude. The meeting between King Soloman and this monarch was of such moment that many fine works of art have been drawn describing the scene with all its magnificence. The other two dramas are “The Twelfth Juror,” a powerful story with a refreshing plot and an absolutely startling climax ; “The Blood Feud,” which is an exceptional play of immense power. The educational films are both interesting and instructive, “Little known Fishes of fhe Mediterranean” is a very fine piscatorial study which pointedly illustrates the great educational value ot the Cinematograph ; “Baby Bow Wows” is a beautifully coloured natural history film and is an admirable study of playful puppies, which is hugely popular everywhere. This week’s Pathe Gazelle is a very fine number aud one of more than usual interest. Lovers of Comics will be more than rewarded with three glorious humourosities. “ I Fear no Foe” is an excellent French comique featuring the favourite Max Linder. , “At it Again” is an excrutiatingly funny film by the favourite Keystone Co. “A Wonderful Statue” is a clever comical Vitagraph contribution, portraying the ever popular John Bunny, Without any doubt the above programme is one of the most enticing that has yet been offered to the public of Foxton, and no doubt there will be a bumper house if only to see the two star films alone.
