The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows : The hemp market is quiet hut steady. The position of mauila is unchanged, and there is little demand for spot. Manila £29 15s to £3O (nominal). OcloberDecember £29 ss; JanuaryMarcb, 10s. The output for the week was 19,000 bales. New Zealand nominally urchanged.
