MOUTOA DRAINAGE BOARD.
MONTHLY MEETING
The ordinary monthly meeting of the Moutoa Drainage Board was held on Thursday evening. Present : Messrs Gower (Chairman), Easton, Barber and Robinson. An apology for absence was received from Mr Hammond.
The clerk reported the amount to credit at Bank of New Zealand at £6O 15s. Since last meeting rates amounting to £IOO ns 6d had been received and there was still some outstanding. Accounts amounting to were passed lor payment. It was decided to give notice that all rates unpaid by the 24th instant will be placed in the hands of the Board’s solicitor for collection.
The Overseer’s repoit was read and approved and it was decided to renew the ring bolts in floodgates, The overseer was instructed to inspect all drains and report on condition of same monthly.
The Board went into committee to deal with some other matters.
