MUNICIPAL PICTURES.
Last night saw another good house to witness the above pictures and the applause which was given demonstrated the full satisfaction of the audience. The programme for Saturday night promises again to be of the usual, high order of merit. The # drama, “The Secret Cupboard, ' is one of the most sensational and exciting detective spectacles ever seen. This film features the wellknown detective, Nat Pinkerton, who captures a notorious gang of thieves who had planned to rob a well-known jewel collector of his rare collection of gems. The other dramas are “The Misunderstood Boy,” a really admirable human story full of power and pathos. “The Bravery of Dora" is a fine spectacular film telling a grand story and is one of the best American-Mexican screen plays yet shown; and “Boyhood’s Dreams" is one of the popular Western series, of the deepest interest, which grips and holds the audience from start to finish. In comics : “Calamity Anne’s Beauty," showing the awful vet laughable results of Calamity’s visit to a beauty specialist, in ‘her comical disfigurement; “Zara” can be summed up in the term of a screaming comic, “The Law in their own hands" is a sidesplitting comicality which creates roars of laughter. The scenic film, “Anckor," is a magnificent scene of ravishing loveliness, being one of Pathe’s beautiful coloured scenics. “The Warwick Chronicle” as usual will be full of the most recent and notable events. The whole programme is one calculated to draw a bumper house.
