HOWTO ENJOY GOOD MEALS AND GOOD WINES WITHOUT SUFFERING FROM STOMACH TROUBLE.

It is a well-known fact among physicians, and even most people, that he who dines too well and likes wines will sooner or later become the victim of stomach acidity. In a recent medical article an eminent physician states that too much acid should never be permitted in the stomach, because it irritates the stomach walls, causing ulcers, and in time developing cancerous growth. The acidity is generally signalised by indigestion after taking wines, sauces, fruits or coffee, and the doctor believes that this is the real reason for most stomach complaints. In his own case, as well as among his patients, he found that ordinary bisurated magnesia quickly neutralised the acid and made it disappear, thus enabling the digestive organs to properly perform their natural functions. Although this is such a simple and harmless remedy, the Medical Report tells ol a lady who had suffered for years trom what had been diagnosed as ulcer of the stomach, and whom it completely cured in a few weeks’ time. As bisurated magnesia is quite inexpensive, and can be easily procured from any good chemist, we publish this extract from the doctor’s account of his experience, for the benefit of readers who wish to enjoy eating well without suffering bad after-effects.

Men may come and men may go, And accidents fill the world with woe; But one thing that will ever endure, Is W. E. Woods’ Great Peppermint Cure. Which puts new life in rich and poor, And health and strength it doth restore ; That’s why I am so very sure, There nothing like Woods’Peppermint Cure. I Ask us to show you a “Dominion” spade. Others connot compare with them. Walker & Furrie.*
