Weraroa (12) v. Tokomaru (3).
FOXTON v. SHANNON.
This match was played on the local racecourse on Saturday and resulted as above. The local team was chiefly comprised of junior players. Mr Cleland refereed.
A meeting of all juniors will be held in the Manawatu Hotel at 8 o’clock this evening. The F'oxton team is well in the running for the junior championship and provided the players keep together will take lot of beating. In view of this, it is hoped that every junior will make a point of being present at the meeting to-night when matters in connection with the balance of the championship games will be discussed.
