CHARGE ADJOURNED.
Christcaurch, August I.
At Eyttelton this morning, Wilfred Edward Harper was charged with “having on July 25, at Eyttelton, with intent to resist lawful arrest, discharged at Martin Carney a rifle loaded with a destructive material, with intent to murder,”
Sergt. Ryan said that .Detective Carney was still confined in' the hospital. He therefore asked that the charge should be adjourned until Friday The application was granted.
