CATHOLIC SOCIAL.

The third of the series of socials under the auspices of the Catholic Church was held last night in the Coronation Town Hall. The officials as usual worked well, making the social no less successful than the preceding ones. Vocal items were contributed by Miss King, Master T. Lenihan and Messrs Hollington and B. Hooker. A specially attractive item was “ The Kerry Dance ” by the Convent School pupils. Messrs M. Perreau and S. Dudsbn made efficient M’s.C., while excellent music was provided by Messrs Berthold and Son, jpiano and violin. Extras were played by Miss Lenihan and Mr C. Berthold (junr)., and accompaniments by Miss Jenks.
