DRUIDISM.
The half-yearly meeting of the local Druids Lodge was held last night when, ; ATrfch-Druid Bro. Martin presided, over a good attendance of members. Two new members were initiated and four more proposed for membership. The folio vying officers were elected for the ensuing term:— Arch Druid Bro. G. O. Barber ; V.A. Bro. H. McKegney ; LG. Bro. A. Smith ; O.G.' Bro. A. E. Mansell; A.D.B. Bros. C. C. Spear and J. G. Burr; V.A.B. Bros. T. Simpson and R. Burnett. The newly-ejected officers were installed. by the District President, Bro. F. Woods, P.A, Bro. E. A. Fuller acting as director of ceremonies.
The balance-sheet for the past six months was submitted and adopted. This disclosed a very satisfactory state of affairs, tbs accumulated funds of the Lodge amounting to over D.P. Bro. Woods signified his intention ot presenting a gold medal to the member introducing the most new members during llie current six months alnd ’was accorded a vote pf thanks for bis offer. :
Several accounts Vvere passed for payment, and at the conclusion of the meeting refreshments, were partaken 61 in the Lodge room.
