MORE LAND FOR SETTLERS.
A BLOCK AT LEVIN.
Wellington, May 28
The Government has acquired a block ot 600 acres of land at Levin for purposes of closer settlement.
The whole of the area consists of first-class land, suitable for dairying or tor growing any variety of crop. It is expected that the block will cut into at least seven farms. Delivery of the land will be given at the end of August next.
