WEDDING.

A pretty wedding was celebrated yesterday at the residence of Mr and Mrs Charles Heayns, of Rangiotu, when their second daughter, Elizabeth Emily, was united in the bonds of matrimony to Frederick Charles, second son of Mr and Mrs William Farmer, of Glen Groua. The bride was charmingly attired in white silk radianta with Maltese lace insertion and wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms and carried a pretty bridal bouquet. She was attended by her younger sister, Leila, who was dressed in cream radianta with embroidered front. The bridegroom was supported by Mr Wm. C. Scott, oi Glen Oroua, as best man. The Rev. J. M. Thomson, m.a., of Foxton, officiated at the ceremony and afterwards felicitously proposed the health of the young couple, the bridegroom very happily responding on behalf of his wife and himself. The bridesmaid and the parents were also duly honoured by the many friends assembled. The happy couple left by motor car for Palmerston North en route lor Rotorua, Auckland and the East Coast. Mrs F. C. Farmer's travelling dress was a fine navy blue costume with hat en suite. She was the recipient of many handsome presents.
